Mac McClung became the high school sensation with his unlikely moves and dunks. Years later, he became one of the most prominent players in the American college basketball league, playing for Georgetown Hoyas. McClung was among the most highly rated names for this year's NBA draft, but chose not to pursue a career in the professional league and will remain for another year in college basketball.

Despite maintaining an excellent average of 15.7 points per game, 2.4 assists and 1.4 steals and also for being awarded the freshman of the year, McClung already expressed some frustration about his performance on the team and about their expectations towards him. Another thing was his recovery process due to a foot injury, contributing for example to an unsatisfactory result in a match against Providence (former team of God Shammgod), where he managed to play for only 8 minutes. Unfortunately for Patrick Ewing (ex New York Knicks in the 90s), this would be his last performance with Hoyas, a very opportune moment for other universities that already had him on the 'radar' to start making their proposals.

Not long ago and after a hard decision, the young point guard will represent Texas Tech Red Raiders of the Texas Tech University in the 2020-2021 season, which has a program for transferring players and prospecting for new talent.
