A 73-53 victory over Puerto Rico in the quarterfinals and a place in the top four of the Copa América. The Brazilian top scorer was Taissa Queiroz, with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Stephany Gonçalves added 16.
The Brazilian campaign so far has victories over Argentina and Mexico, in addition to the triumph over Puerto Rico. Brazil’s only defeat was against Canada.
