The latest colorway of the new Nike Air Jordan 1 revisits the times back when Michael Jordan was a student at the University of North Carolina and was part of Omega Psi Phi, one of the oldest American fraternities founded in 1911.
The launch is very significant, as it pays homage to the first fraternal organization founded in a historically black university, fundamental for the realization of social action programs, search for talent and access of young black people to higher education through scholarships.
The new Air Jordan 1 High OG “Brotherhood” highlights the traditional colors of the Omega Psi Phi, that is, yellow and purple contrasting with the discreet white midsole and side panel.
Scheduled for release on February 23, 2022, the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Brotherhood” will retail for approximately $170.
