This summer, Red Bull in partnership with ‘USA Basketball’ brings back one of the main 3x3 basketball tournaments in the world, the ‘Red Bull 3X’.
Playoffs have been scheduled to take place in more than twenty American cities, so the brand intends to solidify the path for new athletes and also for those who already participate in the category, and if they reach the finals, they will have the possibility of securing a spot in the 'USA Basketball National Team'.
Playoff games will have men and women under the following rules: 3 players and 1 sub, 12-second shot clock time, 8-minute eliminatory games with the exception of the 10-minute final, short and mid-distance shots are worth 1 point and 2 points for long distance ones, the ball will be always in play, the team that scores 21 points first or obtains the most points at the end of the game will be the winner.
The tournament also includes the participation of Chris Mathews, also known as the ‘Lethal Shooter’, one of the most experienced shooting and other fundamentals coaches who will be responsible for the training and evaluation of the participants.
