Jason Williams is arguably one of the most talented point guards to have played at the NBA. Also known as "White Chocolate," he was the guy who drove crowds crazy with his creative way of playing, with daring passes that had yet never been seen on a basketball court. Although he did not properly become a league star, his broad vision of the game, the way he conducted the ball, the way he explored spaces, placed him in a different respectful place.

The commotion he aroused at the height of his career was enough to attract the attention of director Paul Hunter, who was responsible for one of Nike's most famous commercials in the early 2000s. Known as 'Nike Freestyle', the commercial featured  a retelling of the classic Planet Rock - Afrika Bambaataa & The Soul Sonic Force - another example of how basketball and Hip Hop have been interconnected. Other famous players such as Kevin Garnet, Vince Carter, Lamar Odom, Darius Miles, Baron Davis and Rasheed Wallace also participated.

J-Will was the seventh first-round pick of the NBA Draft in 1998 where he played for 12 years in the American league. He teamed up with Chris Webber at the Sacramento Kings, played with big names in the Miami Heat, such as Dwayne Wade, Shaquille O'neal, Gary Payton and Alonzo Mourning. At the Orlando Magic he paired with Rashard Lewis and Rodney Bufford at the Memphis Grizzlies where he would end his league career. Even though he retired almost ten years ago, "White Chocolate" still arouses a lot of interest from sports enthusiasts and early-career athletes who study their movements. The former player also participated in some league games of rapper Ice Cube, the BIG 3, which brings together renown basketball players who no longer play professionally.
